Highlights: Car is an original 327/350 (L-79), 4-speed hardtop only car, with a 4:11 rear end that was delivered new to Mike Savoie Chevrolet in Birmingham, Michigan. The frame and under carriage has been professionally restored (body-off), using original and/or aftermarket parts. Gaps on doors, hood and deck lid look great. The body is stripped to bare fiberglass, and is sitting on the frame. The engine in the car is a later 350 short block, with the original 327/350 heads, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, etc. The original matching number block and engine internals are included with the car. The frame was completely stripped, sand blasted, and painted gloss black. The frame then received all new brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank, springs, shocks, 4-wheel disc brakes, etc. Rebuilt engine and original 4-speed transmission were then installed, along with new aluminized exhaust from the manifolds back. Raised white letter tires are mounted on 8" Corvette rally wheels, with reproduction trim rings and original GM derby caps. Body is stripped to bare fiberglass, and is in good, to very good condition. Windshield frame, radiator support, and headlight support bar are all solid. Both doors are disassembled, but complete, and in very nice condition, with no rust. Headlight door assemblies and decklid are installed, and seem to operate fine. Decklid is in great shape; hood has slight repair work visible underneath. The hardtop is missing the stainless trim and headliner. Rear tail light panel has been replaced, and will need finished (see photo). Lower rear valence panel is a reproduction in excellent condition. Stainless trim is very nice. Front and rear bumpers, along with both bumperettes, are straight with fair-good chrome. Headlight doors both have visible damage (which may be hidden once headlights are final assembled); LH headlight bezel is missing. Windshield wiper door assembly is almost complete (missing wiper door stainless trim piece). Front radiator grilles are in good-very good shape. Taillights, side marker lights, mirrors, outside trim, and most emblems are all off the car, but in decent shape and included. All interior gauges (6000 redline) are in very good condition. Upper dash pad is cracked; lower dash pads are in good to very good condition. Door panels, console cover, and E-brake cover are reproductions in nice condition. E-Brake assembly, steering column, original steering wheel, gas pedal, 4-speed pedal assembly, and 4-speed shifter are all in the car. Seats are later models (early 70's?), and will need recovered. Aftermarket radio comes with the car. All other interior items are off the car, but included. Most interior pieces are in "driver" condition. Original black carpet and padding is gone. The engine in the car is a later 350 Chevy short block, that has been totally rebuilt using the original 327/350 heads, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, etc. Original matching number 4-speed transmission was also rebuilt. Engine compartment area includes the power steering pump, fuel pump, alternator, pulleys, fan belts, original air cleaner assembly, fan, clutch fan, water pump, coil, tach-drive distributor, radiator, radiator support and shroud, vacuum tank, wiper fluid bottle, and aluminum expansion tank. Upper spare tire lid is installed on the car; lower spare tire tub with a 15 x 7" rally wheel, scissors jack and lug wrench handle are included. Owners manual, NCRS "Shipping Data Report", and 1968 Corvette assembly manual are all included. Previous owner gave me the body-off restoration photos, which go with the car. I have no GM documentation with the car. Car needs a windshield, battery, carpet, wiper door trim piece (long), LH headlight bezel, ignition shielding, hardtop trim and headliner. Car will need bolted back on the frame, finish body work, paint, and final assembled. There may be other small parts the car needs, but I believe that most/all major components of the car are here. I have a clear Indiana title. I can help prepare the care for shipment, and can recommend a dependable shipper if sold to anyone in the eastern/midwest US. Car is located about 25 miles east of Columbus, Ohio. Questions? (614) 920-0647. US $10,700.00.
